Doctoral Program

The Coordination of the Graduate Program in Computer Science releases the Call for Applications No. 02/2021/PPGCC and its Rectification, making it known that, from  29 March 2021 to 30 November 2021, applications will be open for the admission selection process to the PPGCC Doctoral program. The Call has 21 vacancies in the most different lines of research.

In its almost 30 years of operation, the PPGCC/UFSC has graduated more than 1169 master’s students and 33 doctoral students. Its importance has been recognized by CAPES, which, in its evaluations, attributed grade 5 to PPGCC/UFSC, given to graduate programs considered very good. Its Selection Process is open to all who wish to carry out in-depth studies in the field of computing.

Check the Call for Applications and choose your line of research, theme and supervisor.

Create your work plan
Create your work plan. You need to describe the way you will execute your plan according to the chosen line of research. We recommend that you contact the supervisor at this stage.


Start your application
Start your application in the Graduate Academic Records System through the link.

Ask for two reference letters
Contact supervisors, mentors or course instructors and ask for reference letters to be sended to this link. Two letters must be sent.

Submit your documents
Send us, through this link, every document listed in the Call for Applications.

Please be aware that applications close on 1 December 2020.

 Enrollment


To the selected candidates, congratulations on your approval! To enroll, you must send all documents mentioned in the Call for Applications in digital format to the electronic address ppgcc@contato.ufsc.br. The documents include:

  • Birth or marriage certificate;
  • National identity card;
  • Undergraduate diploma;
  • Master’s diploma;
  • Commitment statement (Annex II), filled in and signed by the applicant;
  • Work release statement (Annex III), in case the applicant has a job;

Foreigners must also send:

  • Identity card from the country of origin;
  • Permanent visa or current student visa.

Not submitting the documents for enrollment will result in the automatic disqualification of the applicant for admission and the enrollment will not be effective.
